Meet the actor
Felipe Carvalho is a Brazilian actor, born and raised in the city of São Paulo. He holds a degree in Performing Arts with a specialization in Theater Interpretation from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). He undertook an academic exchange at the Theater Department of Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis (France).
He acted in plays such as A Demência dos Touros (Bulls' Dementia), Roda Morta (Dead Wheel), and Dr. Anti, as well as appearing in the cinema film Rompecabezas (Puzzles).
He has a deep interest in dramatic studies, especially in the Russian tradition, with a focus on the pedagogical and poetic premises of Constantin Stanislavski's system. He also works as a translator, interpreter, and teacher of theater, French, and English. He is currently studying Literature with a specialization in Russian at the College of Philosophy, Literature and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP).
