The play is the result of academic work under the guidance of professors Cibele Forjaz and Marcos Bulhões. Through the Inquisition of the character Branca, Dias Gomes' play revisits the Brazilian military dictatorship of 1964, updating the authoritarianism of the State of the past while denouncing that of the present.
